Am I the only person who routinely mis-types “.com” as “.ocm”? I’m always surprised at the error results after I’ve typed in what I think to be a valid URL. Shouldn’t IE, Netscape, Opera or someone write some nifty code that compensates for creative misspellers? IE already let’s you get away with omitting “www.”, so why not convert “.com”s to “.ocm”s?
Perhaps they can write a word processor to take care of me typing “hte” instead of “the” too…
That’s a common mistake. I think MS Word already auto-corrects that mistake.
