Seminal punk guitarist Robert Quine is dead. I’m way behind the times on this story, having seen it in a recent Rolling Stone issue. Quine was one of two guitarists (Richard Lloyd being the other) that made Matthew Sweet’s Girlfriend single and album sound so cool. Police suspect a suicide.
