Ted Turner writes a lengthy opinion concerning media ownership in America in “My Beef With Big Media” for Washington Monthly. I love it when Ted gets ornery! He may not be my boss anymore, but you gotta admire his entrepreneurial spirit.

And I agree with him that the FCC ought to be about keeping the fight clean for the little guy. Check out his comments on ABC/Disney and the crushing of dissent. I think you’ll find that big media consolodation, of which I’m a part in my own small way, isn’t necessarily a good thing.
