I’m asking all of my blogging friends, would you ever “sell” the editorial content of your blog to an advertiser? Would you accept payment to talk about a product or service that some marketing wonk thought your audience would find interesting?
That’s the whole idea behind Blogversations. Not something I would do, but something my employer would be interested in exploiting to promote several of our shows.
Shady? Innovative? What do you think?
Also last week, a blogger broke the story about noted blog, Fark.com, selling their editorial, so this isn’t a new concept, just one that’s starting to garner some attention. Wired even did a story on the whole brouhaha.
