It would seem I’m certainly not the only one with a Poker jones. According to Yahoo!’s Buzz Log, lots of other folks are searching for poker info now that they’re flush (ha!) with new chips, cards and tables.

It was through these blogs that I learned about the attempted robbery of 2004 WSOP champion, Greg Raymer. Good to know that the man can take care of himself. I certainly hope they catch the jerks that tried to do this.

So, now that you’ve had your daily dose of poker searches, poker blogs and poker news, are you ready to play a few hands? I’ll be organizing a beginner/itermediate regular game hopefully to be held at my house (with my new checks and table-top) potentially starting in February. Of course, that assumes that our early Spring cleaning actually happens and that I can convince Jenn. Email me if you’re interested in playing. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or even related to the proposed regular game.
