I haven’t had time to truly start reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yet, but I have sneaked a peak. Three things that impress me despite my cursory glance at the contents:
1) This book is shorter than the previous two books and only about 1/3 larger than Prisoner of Azkaban, my personal favorite.
2) The book is dedicated to her Mackenzie. I love books dedicated to the author’s children, especially this particular series.
3) In the first paragraph of the first chapter, The Other Minister, the Prime Minister refers to The President as a “wretched man”. I like this book already.
