At the behest of bi11i, owner/proprietor of Fuck You, Computer - a blog which uses my Curtains Up theme, I’ve upgraded my old WordPress 1.5.1.1 blog to the newest version, 1.5.1.3. Apart from being terribly insular and geeky, what does this mean? In the long run, not much. In the short term, hopefully less blog spam, no open security holes, a newer line running at the bottom of this blog and the admiration for a fellow blogger.

Other benefits:

1) I got to back up my database in time for WordPress Backup Week
2) I joined the Wordpress Release Notification list, so I won’t miss future updates.
3) There were only 2 benefits.

So there you have it. My WordPress upgrade.
