After all the attention I gave Dreamhost for their BitTorrent policy and all the attention I got from the resulting BoingBoing link, I thought I’d mention something nice on the Dreamhost front: The Official Dreamhost Weblog. Obviously, it’s running WordPress, which is dead simple to setup on Dreamhost. Right now there’s a good mix of gear-head technical information, insider information and cool/funny/hip positioning.

Overall, I’m much happier with Dreamhost than I was with my previous host and their status blog, though the owner’s blog is pretty interesting. It may have been locally-owned-and-operated, but it was a bit to “Mom and Pop” for my tastes. Plus, Dreamhost is cheaper.
