I was initially going to title this post Lost and Found, but that seemed to trite. No?

In any event, I have some random links to share in anticipation of tonight’s episode. Some are very old and some are just things I’ve bookmarked for myself but not shared.

I know, I’m greedy that way.

• TV Squad has a great theory, several months old now, that the Lost survivors are actually found.

I’m not sure I agree with all the particulars, especially in light of last week’s revelations about Ethan and the medical Dharma Initiative bunker, but it is interesting.

I find it completely plausible that there is one person or couple that is the Rosetta Stone for all the people on the island. Some singular individual (or event) that unites all the Lostaways.

Also, there may or may not be a Dharma logo on the Oceanic Airlines plane. YMMV.

• Gary Troup’s Bad Twin

This was the mystery novel manuscript Hurley read a while back. It’s an actual book published as a subplot item for Lost fans. Heard about it on TV Squad as well.

• Numbers stations

Interesting bit of information regardin mysterious shortwave radio stations referred to as numbers stations. Seems like an accurate description of the way in which Hurley’s fellow mental patient initially heard the numbers.

• Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

Is anyone else troubled by the fact that 42 is also the answer to “Life, the Universe and Everything” according to Douglas Adams and his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series. The problem, of course, was that no one could remember the question.

There’s an awful lot of time travel and improbability in the series. Is it a direct influence, a mcguffin or a wink and a nod?

• Dharma Initiative T-Shirts

ABC wises up, after shutting me down, and sells their own Dharma Initiative T-Shirts.
