Now that Office Pirates has run aground, here’s my metaphor meltdown list of ways you can be funnier than their site by using Pirate/nautical terminology to describe their demise:

  • Pillaged
  • Sunk
  • Ransacked
  • Run Aground
  • Overboard
  • Walked the plank
  • Keel-hauled
  • Gone to visit Davy Jones’ locker
  • Scuttled
  • Lowered it’s sails
