Best. Weekend. Ever.

Wow. I never thought a birthday of mine – least of all my 30th birthday – could be so much fun.

I’m not a big planner and our only thoughts on Saturday’s festivities was “Let’s go to homecoming in Athens.” And while the game might not have turned out the way I would have liked, we had a blast. Read up.

So here was our weekend (birthday) itinerary:

Friday:

Dinner and pints at The Highlander followed by a screening of The Departed (review coming soon) at Atlantic Station.

Saturday:

Homecoming in Athens followed by some downtown shopping, dinner and pints at Copper Creek Brewing Company and milkshakes from The Grill.

Sunday:

Brunch at Ray’s on the River followed by 3 sets of tennis.

A pretty jam-packed weekend made all the better by my awesome wife, Jenn. The best partner a guy could ever ask for.

She suggested all of the activities and made sure we had the best time together. Thanks, Jenn, for making my 30th the best birthday (and weekend) ever.
