For the second (it’s a theme, go with it) time in two days (ugh, tedious already) I heard a very energetic and enthuastic speaker talk about Second Life.
I think if I could get it installed on my home PC I’d be completely addicted already. As it is I have to use my secondary monitor (ding!) on my work laptop to get some playing time in.
Still, this Second Life feels like it’s going to be really huge and I can already tell how much I enjoy what little time I have to give to it.
I have a feeling that however cool the experience of the virtual world, my real world experience would end up like this if I got addicted:
