Part Mop. Part Puppet. All Crazy.
Rest in Peace, James Brown, on this Christmas Day 2006.
Brown invented funk, was there for the beginnings of Rock N Roll (when it still meant something) and he was crazier than a 3 dollar bill. Plus, starring roles in a Rocky film (Rocky II?) and Blues Brothers.
Plus, the man loved Georgia Bulldog football.
I reported the news/eulogized him on the Atlanta Metroblog.
I’m stealing from Paul Westerdawg and including this clip of Dooley’s Junkyard Dawgs here as well.
You’ll be missed James.
You're reading Mostly Muppet the personal blog of Seth Miller [About].
I don't really blog that much about Muppets, despite the URL, and focus mainly on Lost, etymology and whatever else strikes my fancy

Thanks, A.J.
My pop culture spidey sense has been wacky lately, especially since I saw the latest “Rocky Balboa” trailer.
Coincidence?
