As an Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan, I had a post all prepped over the weekend talking about the hilarious trailer for their new movie: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters.

But then there was this brouhaha yesterday and the surrounding coverage blurred the humor of the show and movie and whipped up a frenzy completely unrelated to what I love about the show. Or maybe the whole scenario is exactly what I enjoy about the show.

In the words of Err, who appeared on the “installments”, “Silence nerd!” and “Don’t question it!”

I mean, seriously, it’s a late-night television show with faux-Atari villains made into DIY litebrite.

When you can accept the humor, audience and message for what it is, buy tickets to the movie. It’ll be friggin’ awesome!
