Part Mop. Part Puppet. All Crazy.
Upon changing my Facebook profile picture yesterday, a friend sent me a link to the latest Iron & Wine CD, Our Endless Numbered Days. Apparently, I struck him as looking an awful lot like the caricature of the lead singer, Sam Beam.
I posted two weeks ago that I thought I looked like Yukon Cornelius, so maybe I’m not that far off. Either way, either stop-motion animation or painted album artwork, I’m a caricature of myself, which is fine by me, I’m more interesting that way anyhow.
Turns out the caricature meme isn’t just related to my facial hair (but this is my blog, so it really IS all about me):
Not sure how caricaturing for a suspect and profiling cross paths, but it’s interesting to think about.
Seth Godin builds off Cory’s BoingBoing post and talks about the marketing/branding implications of caricatures.
Thanks to Blog@Newsarama for showing off these cool playing card caricatures.
Happy Caricaturing

I don't really blog that much about Muppets, despite the URL, and focus mainly on Lost, etymology and whatever else strikes my fancy
