Part Mop. Part Puppet. All Crazy.
I’m a sucker for a good commercial. This stands in stark contrast to the fact that I own a TiVo, timeshift the majority of my viewing and hardly ever notice/watch commercials anymore. But I do have a degree in Advertising (Journalism), so I figured I’d mention my favorites of the holiday season, all-time.
So simple, they just re-air it every year.
I think they still air this one.
I dig the singing, what can I say?
It’s the same ad as the Budweiser one, but they both work for me.
Re-made numerous times to varying degrees of success.
Got a favorite holiday ad that either gets re-run every year or was so touching/poignant/silly/memorable that you smile just thinking about it? Leave a comment and a link.
You're reading Mostly Muppet the personal blog of Seth Miller [About].
I don't really blog that much about Muppets, despite the URL, and focus mainly on Lost, etymology and whatever else strikes my fancy

I always loved the Coke polar bear one, and the Publix ones they come out with every year seem to always make me cry. Stupid hormones.

Both excellent additions, Lori. Who’s got some more?

This year I thought Gamestop’s commercial was cute and funny:
