Part Mop. Part Puppet. All Crazy.
In this corner, California singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat and her Jack Johnson-esque hit single, Bubbly:
It starts in my toes
And I crinkle my nose
Where ever it goes
I always know
And in this corner, Fruit Loops pitch-bird Toucan Sam:
“Follow my nose! It always knows!”
I can honestly say that this underreported misappropriation of a catchphrase is egregious and unforgivable. Much worse than Obama’s recent “plagiarism”.
Here’s to you, Colbie. I hope you choke on a Fruit Loop.

It’s a damn catchy tune though.
You're reading Mostly Muppet the personal blog of Seth Miller [About].
I don't really blog that much about Muppets, despite the URL, and focus mainly on Lost, etymology and whatever else strikes my fancy

That photoshopping is pristine! I never noticed the similarities of that lyric. Now I will think of fruit loops as being synonymous with Colbie Calliat.

I’m no artist, Duane, that’s for sure. Just an opinionated dude w/ VERY limited Photoshop skills.

Any truth to the rumors that her next single is called “I’m Coo Coo (For You)?”
