How many times did I wish that my sibling/roommate/wife hadn’t eaten my ice cream? A ton, obviously, if I have to resort to stupid rhetorical questions to start a blog post.
You see, Doug Hertle invented a lock for the top of his Ben & Jerry’s pints. He even went so far as to write the company about his idea. The great part? The ice cream maker ran with the idea!
Why am I so dumbfounded? I’ve had this idea! You’ve had this idea! Cartoon characters have had this idea!
The difference? Doug spoke up and we just sat on our hands. Stupid us!
Now this meme is the talk of the internets. Everybody is in on the act.
