I’m Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year”

Turns out I am the Time’s 2006 “Person of the Year”.

To be fair, you are too, especially if you read or write a blog, listen or produce a podcast, edit or consume Wikipedia or watch and create video on YouTube.

Pretty much any warm body on the internets right now is a part of this new media and Time, the grandaddy of “old media” is giving it some much deserved pub and recognition for little, old me.

Hey, I’m no Lebowski Little Achiever, but it’ll do.

The Dude

Some would say they’re two years too late, others would say that they got the personal pronoun incorrect, while still others think we’re just a bunch of digital Alfred E. Neuman’s.

Me, I think Time and the rest of us are on the right track since “old media” and snarkers dissing “new media” is so 2006, and I’m all about the future. 2007, here I come!

  1. Is it just me or do the “two year late” and “personal pronoun” links just not work? I had to do some editing of the url to make them work.
