Well, we’re only about one hot minute away from being “under contract” so the house isn’t sold yet, but we’re getting closer.

Wasn’t it just, like, a week ago that the thing went for sale?

Yes. Yes it was. 😉

Turns out the adage holds true: “The first offer IS the best offer”. Also, with the stress of work and the upcoming baby, we decided to swallow some of our pride (deep-fried, not raw) and take a lower offer in order to move the process along.

Now all we have to do is get by our home inspection, close escrow, pack and find a new house. Actually, that’s quite a road to hoe, but the first part is almost finished.
