Part Mop. Part Puppet. All Crazy.
Okay, so Jennifer is really into this show on Fox, American Idols. I’d
link to the web site, but I don’t want to encourage anyone else. I was
shocked at how one of the “judges”, a talent scout from the U.K. named
Simon, treated the contestants. When he gets to Hell, I hope he says
hello to fellow brit-puke and rude TV personality Ann Robinson. They
can both kiss my ass.
The list du jour: things I imbibed this weekend.
1. Appleton’s Rum
2. Stolichnaya Vanilla Twist Vodka
3. Samuel Adams
4. Coca-Cola
5. Milk
6. Water
7. Strawberry-Kiwi Crystal Light
There you have it. A fun Saturday. Jenn, Matt, Jen and I saw Dan perform in a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, then we went to the liqour store. 7 hours later we had played Cranium,
ordered pizza (who knew Papa John’s doesn’t have celery as a topping)
and discussed the geopolitical fate of the entire planet. Oh, and we
laughed about internet porn. Not bad for one weekend.
Here’s what happened to me yesterday, in list format so as to continue
a trend:
1. Went to Braves/Tigers game and sat in Owner’s box
2. Shook the hand of Jimmy Carter
3. Saw a come-from-behind victory in the bottom of the ninth
4. Had them put my Mom’s birthday on the scoreboard
5. Jenn got a baseball from the bat boy
6. Had a blast
7. Made my entire family happy
This is my kind of list. TGIF!
Ok, so I didn’t update yesterday. I’m a lazy dumbass, but we’ve
established that already. To make up for this oversight on my part, I’m
compiling a rant-style list of things I want. Not things I need, mind
you, but things I want.
1. More CDRs
2. The Nintendo Gamecube
3. Peace in the Middle East
4. Talent
5. A better setup to make my own brand of terrible, derivative musical
garbage
6. A better attitude
7. More friends
8. Less enemies
9. Fame
10. A nap
There you go; a stupid list to make up for an entire day of inactivity.
I hope everyone out there is happy. All three of you.
I found an old coworker online this afternoon. Buddy Deschenes, the mind behind Ghost Project, worked with me in Athens where we were both employed by NorthEast Georgia Internet Access.
I’m listening to some songs I downloaded from his site, and I’m very
impressed. My own meager attempts at music were thwarted this weekend.
I’m not too adept with FruityLoops and I just don’t have the chops or
the equipment to sound like anything but a train-wreck garage band.
Maybe I just need a cool moniker like Badly Drawn Boy. Damn! That’s
taken.
You're reading Mostly Muppet the personal blog of Seth Miller [About].
I don't really blog that much about Muppets, despite the URL, and focus mainly on Lost, etymology and whatever else strikes my fancy
Enjoy!
