Part Mop. Part Puppet. All Crazy.
I was surfing around while I ate my lunch this afternoon and I noticed
that I was being disparaged in the navigation of the Rev. Buddy Love’s Ghost Project. To refute his claim that I never update my web site, I’ve posted a link on his forums to the newly added lyrics
on my site.
Take that!
Last night Jennifer and I took a tour of Northside Hospital’s Family
Center to decide whether or not it would be a good place for the birth
of our first child. We came away astounded. Northside delivers 45 - 60
babies a day, making it the highest volume community hospital in the
United States. Their facilities were awesome and they made us feel
completely at home. Plus, a woman in labor actually labored her way
through the front door while we watched. I think she was a little
embarassed, but it was cool to see how attentive the staff was and how
smoothly the process flowed.
I got off my ass, figuratively, yesterday and put some lyrics up on the site. I know, I know - hold your applause. My partner in musical crime, Dan, took a look and decided they didn’t suck. Hopefully, we’ll be getting together in the next week or so to collaborate.
Check them out if you like: Lyrics
What do you say when you’ve been a slacker for as long as I have?
“Sorry” would be a good start, so I’ll start there. Sorry. I apologize
to myself and my loyal reader, if you really exist.
What have I been up to I hear you ask halfheartedly. Well, the simple
answer would be dogsitting and the long answer would be taking care of
business - you know, “TCB”.
Jenn’s morning sickness has been steadily improving and the dogs are
behaving a little better. All in all my stress level is decreasing.
Last tuesday I dislocated my small toe on my right foot. It hurt.
Badly.
This week Jenn and I are touring Northside Hospital and walking in the
Promina Corporate Challenge. Saturday, everyone will return from China.
If you can’t wait, check out the pictures here: photos.yahoo.com/aggies8688.
And Dan, I promise to have lyrics ready soon. I’ll email you when
they’re up. I guess everyone can see them then. Feel free to send only
encouraging emails to whoelse@mostlymuppet.com. Band names also
appreciated, as we have none.
I have a lot of stress in my life. Jenn has morning sickness. We’re
looking after 2 dogs and a cat for Jenn’s folks. Thad is weaseling his
way out of the Navy.
I need comfort food, dammit!
Although food-related, but unrelated to comfort food, I actually liked
cafeteria lunches when I was in school. I still find myself craving
“middle school pizza” once in a while.
Go figure.
Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!
You're reading Mostly Muppet the personal blog of Seth Miller [About].
I don't really blog that much about Muppets, despite the URL, and focus mainly on Lost, etymology and whatever else strikes my fancy
