Happy Day

The new lawnmower rocks! I love not having to prime the engine twenty
times or yank the starter chain until my hands are numb to get it
started. It will take some time to get used to the controls, but
overall I’m very pleased. It cuts the grass into much finer pieces. It
has 7 different blade heights (as opposed to 5). The bag empties much
easier. Most importantly, the lawn looks great.
All in all, I can’t believe I’m this smitten with lawn maintenance
equipment. Wait. Yes I can.
Last night, Jenn and I bought tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil show
Mystere. We’ll be seeing the show on Graham’s birthday. I hated giving
up seats to Blue Man Group, but Graham wasn’t into it, and I think that
doing more than one big show in a three day period would be too much
work.
We got Lucy back last night as well. Poor dog slept all evening. We
even let her sleep in the bed with us. Unfortunately, she’ll be going
down to the Savitska’s Wednesday night, so the honeymoon will be
short-lived.
Three more days of work and we’re gone. Seems like we’re always on the
move, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
