I’ve been listening to a ton of Brit-rock while I work and I think I have a new favourite band: The Coral. (Old Fave: Travis).

The Coral are kind of like a more accessible version of The Beta Band – lots of interesting, layered instrumentation, a distinctive singer, fun arrangements, wry humor. I’m more of a fan of their older, eponymous debut, but I’m also digging their new CD, Magic and Medicine.

Check them out. They’re worth a listen.
