Okay, so here are my thoughts concerning the actual game Sunday night. John Fox lost that game by icing his own kicker, John Kasay. Had Kasay kicked the two extra points to make it 17-21 and 24-21, respectively, the last Patriots drive would have been a game-tying effort as oppossed to game-winning drive. Also, if he were a little warmer, Kasay probably doesn’t shank the kickoff to give Tom Brady and the Pats such awesome field position.

Oh well. It’s all history now anyway. But it does prove the tried and true football adage that you don’t go for two until you have to. Both Johns, Fox and Kasay, have to live with that knowledge now.
