After the results of yesterday’s election the word Democracy has been in my mind.

Jumping from one non sequitur to another, I thought of the as-yet-to-be/never-to-be-released Guns N Roses album Chinese Democracy.

Now I’ve only heard/downloaded a couple of tracks, but I like what I hear. Axl’s propensity for sounded strained aside (I kinda dig it), the music seems fresh and energetic. Not angry, not retro, not nu-metal, but a solid GnFnR tune or two.
