News at Seven

Yesterday’s news (at time of post), aggregated completely automatically and delivered by a virtual host on a virtual set and “broadcast” via YouTube and RSS.

News at Seven, developed by Northwestern University’s Intelligent Information Laboratory, is nothing less than amazing.

Now if I could pre-select the news I want to hear, whom I’d like to hear it from and how often I’d like to receive it, this system would KILL TV news.

Heck, I’ve already switched to blogs/rss for most of my news, add custom video and I’d never turn on CNN or the late local news again.
