Three Beers

Three nights on the weekend, three beers to review. Seems pretty good to me.

Leffe Blond
Light, golden trappist abbey ale with a good amount of spicy flavor and alcoholic punch. Went well with my steak dinner.

Brooklyn Brown Ale
Lovely, pungent red-brown ale that disappointed. Too malty and not hoppy enough. It was almost a porter or stout.

Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA
A great American interpretation of an India Pale Ale. Not too hoppy and very drinkable. More microbrews should use less Cascade hops – they can get to us hop-heads in other ways. Snake Dog would be a great example of how to do it correctly.

There you have it. Fun weekend beer made for a fun weekend.
