This year when we went to Callaway Gardens, I did nothing but take (mostly) Macro pictures with our older digital camera. I’ve got 60 of the photos up in a Flickr set now.
Here are a few highlights:
In all our years of going to see the Azaleas in bloom, this year was notable for three reasons:
- Great weather
- Bad Azaleas
- Butterflies & Bees
The warmest, sunniest, blue sky-est day in years
Or missing the end of one peak and the start of another
As the pictures document (click through), I saw more native insect life than ever before
All told a great time with some great pictures.
