A typical suburban family is enjoying chips, salsa and queso con jalepeños before their meal arrives.

Jenn: Is the cheese too hot?
Me: I don’t think so, she’ll just need to blow on it.
Rae: [Blowing on the hot cheese, still in it’s bowl, with all her might]
Rae: PHHFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!
Jenn: Did you see that?
Me: Yes
Me: [Examines chip fragments now floating on top of the cheese]
Jenn: You have to eat that, you know.
Me: Raelyn, next time, put the cheese on your chip and then blow on it.

Such is life with a 3-year-old in the year 2006. Enjoy it while it lasts.
