In this week’s issue of TV Guide, on the cover actually, there’s a pretty cool preview DVD for Lost.

It contains some great behind the scenes/deleted scenes stuff from Season 2, a promo for Season 2 on DVD, a preview/promo of Season 3 on ABC and some other stuff.

Here’s a breakdown:

• Exclusive: Canine Castaway

Madison the dog as “Vincent”

• “Mysteries, Theories and Conspiracies”

*Yawn*

• Season 3 Sneak Peak

Lostaways tell of their former professions/lives.

• Season 2 Trailer

Locke narrates the Season 2 DVD Trailer.

Exclusive Deleted Scenes:

• “Giving Care”

Touching Sun & Jin interaction while Sun cares for an unconscious Sawyer.

• “Kate’s Choice”

Charlie chides Jack for not making Kate stay at camp.

• “The Saw”

Eko borrows a saw from Locke.

The deleted scenes are obviously short and sweet, under a minute.

The two trailers look nice but add little we didn’t already know.

The piece on “Vincent” is the longest and most interesting, especially the bit about “Vincent” swimming out to the raft to close Season 1.

The “Mysteries, Theories and Conspiracies” is lame and laughable. Lots of talk of fans but few actual mysteries, theories or conspiracies are thrown out.

For free, it’s a steal. As a prop for Season 3 viewing and Season 2 DVD purchase, it’s great.

Now all I have to do is plot my trip to Hawaii (9 days away!) so I can see the set!
